Description

Rockhopper is the only Pirate known throughout Club Penguin. He comes to Club Penguin once every 1-3 months. He will always bring a free item that both members and nonmembers can get! His pirate ship is called the “Migrator”. His ship will arrive at the beach alongside the lighthouse. His Puffle is red and his name is Yarr.

Tracking Rockhopper

Every Penguin loves gathering friends and trying to track down Rockhopper. whether you are searching for the free gift or just wanna chat with him, there are many clues and tips for tracking down Rockhopper! First lets start off with the servers he likes to go on and how you can tell which ones he is on.

Rockhopper loves going on the bigger servers such as Mammoth!
Rockhopper’s favorite rooms to go in are the Ship Deck, Ship Hold, Headquarters of his Ship, Snow Forts, Plaza, Pizza Parlor and the Cove!
Rockhopper also likes to go on the smaller servers.
Finally, to locate him easily, Check my Bribble (Port-35332) to see if any other people are looking for him. Work together and split up to find Rockhopper quickly.

Rockhopper’s Playercard

You may notice that on Rockhopper’s player card there are different buttons than the normal Penguin ones. If You click the icon that looks like the winking emotion, it will ask you if you would like to receive a free gift. It is usually the autographed Rockhopper background. You are not able to click the “Find” icon because it will not allow you to be his buddy. If you try to visit his home it will take you to his ship not an igloo. You can send him mail, but usually he doesn’t send back. You also can add him on your ignore list if you wish. You aren’t able to report him because he is a type of staff seen on Club Penguin.

Beta Testers

Beta testers were Penguins, (about 100) who went on Clubpenguin.com when it was first opening! They received a one-month free membership and 500 coins! They also received the rarest item in all of Club Penguin… the Beta Hat! Beta penguins today are rare, but ones like Helen2k5 get tons of attention. The Beta Hat was released in the town in a box like the anniversary hats! The anniversary hats and the Beta Hats are exactly the same except for that the Beta one is purple and Yellow.

Club Penguin started off as just a multi-player online game called “Penguin Chat”. The game was only available on a site called rocketsnail.com (the moderator Rsnail’s old website which is now closed). There was a Nightclub, and Coffee Shop also, everything was free! In the town (which was the only place You cold go) it actually snowed! You could drive a vehicle called a “Snowcat” do not be fooled by Penguinchat.com that is a fake version of “Penguin Chat” proof is because there is no town, a Snowcat which is un-driveable and “Penguin Chat” was only accessible on Rocketsnail.com. There was absolutely no way of earning coins or but things (except for items on rocketsnail.com which used real life money). Rocketsnail.com featured games like Mancala, Ballistic Biscuit and more which now You can play on Club Penguin.

How To Play Card-Jitsu

1. First, go to the Dojo. Then, go to the spot where the Sensei pops up, (roll your mouse over it!) Then, take you starter deck. (If you buy the trading cards, you can add more cards to your inventory.)

2. When you get to the part of the instructions that asks if you are ready to learn, press “Yes please.”

3. You first pick a card to play with, Water, Fire, Snow.

4. You battle other penguins to move up.

5. The Ninja game is just like Rock Paper Scissors.

Water puts out Fire

Snow freezes Water

Fire melts Snow

6. You have two ways of winning:

Have 3 of the same cards, different colors.

Have 3 different cards, different colors.

7. When the cards are the same, the match isn’t done. The card with the highest number wins!

8. If you forget how to play, scroll over the question in the playing screen.

The Ninja Belts

There are many different colors of the Ninja belts, you first earn the white and work your way up to the black. You have to win about 5-7 round before receiving you’re next belt. Once you receive the Black belt, you are not done. Try beating the Sensei to become a true ninja. After beating the Sensi, you will unlock many secerets that have been around Club Penguin for quite a while!

The Sensei

You may think that beating the Sensei is impossible, but it isn’t. To beat him, you will have to play him many times. One you play him a few times, he is bound to make a mistake soon. As I said, you have to play a few round with the Sensei and then he will make a mistake that will cost him the game.

The Catalog

As many of you may know, there is a secret martial arts catalog that you can access once you beat the Sensei. There are many rare items in it including the mysterious Ninja Outfit! You can also upgrade your igloo to a Dojo! If you want to view the catalog, click here!

Secrets With Ninjas

Now that you are a Ninja, have a little fun! Put on you’re Black Ninja Suit and Mask and Dance. Once you dance, you will turn transparent but still foreseeable.

How To Become Famous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The following tips are helpful on becoming famous on Club Penguin. There are a lot of ways to do this but you have to work hard for it. If you want to be famous it takes awhile but don’t give up! In my opinion I think there are 4 helpful guides to become famous.

Becoming Famous Option #1:

If you want to become a really famous penguin and well known penguin on Club Penguin this might be the helpful tip for you. You can’t be rude or mean to penguins. Be as kind as you can to penguins and try to complement them! Such as saying “You are awesome!” When you become famous people will start to know you and crowd you, and also beg to be your buddy. A good way to gain a lot of fans is play games with them. When I have free time on Club Penguin I usually play Find Four, Sled Racing, and other games with my fans to keep them. Try having conversations with your fans as much as possible.

Becoming Famous Option #2

The next tip which in my rating I would rate 10/10 is make a Club Penguin Blog! If you want to make a Club Penguin Blog you need time and effort on it. Try to get your posts on time. This way, you will get a higher rank on google and people will find your site easier so you can get more hits! Also, try to make your posts with as much information as possible with the topic you are posting on. When you first make the blog it will take a few weeks to get known about. Some good ways to get your site going around is go comment sites, and advertise. Don’t spam the sites but say like “Hey Awesome Post! http://bikeboy93.org”

Becoming Famous Option #3

Making youtube videos is a great way of spreading your fame around. It is hard at first but then after a month or so you kinda get the hang of it! Make as many videos as possible to get the views for your videos! Describe the video as much as you can and what the video is about. Also, use tags so your video can be easily searched. Make a title that everyone will search. Also if you have a Club Penguin blog try to advertise your videos on your blog. Say something like “Please comment and rate 5/5! and subscribe” This tip will help get you views, and will have people to subscribe to you! Try to make 2 to 3 minute videos.

Hypercam 10/10 Best way to record Club Penguin videos.

Windows Movie Maker- 7/10 Good editing tool to edit your videos with.

Becoming Famous Option #4

This option is kinda hard to pull off, but it is good if you don’t want to install any movie makers or make a blog. This option requires to be well known on Mammoth on Frozen. Go on these servers and try to become friends with famous penguins. This way you will start to meet there friends and you will get your name spread around. Send your friends postcards! Your friend will enjoy this and remember your name. Also advertise for an igloo party in the town, or dock! A lot of people will come to your igloo and remember you.

Edit Other People’s Igloos (Way 1):

1. Go to your igloo.

2. Press the Igloo edit button.

3. Press your player card.

4. Go to HQ.

5. Use the map and go to any member igloo.

6. Now you can move things around.

1. Go to your igloo.

2. Walk towards the door of your igloo.

3. Press the igloo edit button quick.

4. Now your map should pop up, go to any room.

1. Go to your igloo.

2. Open up one of your buddies player cards.

3. Press the igloo edit button.

Walk With Newspaper in Any Room:

Note: You must have 2 computers or 2 user accounts on your computer

1. First go to the computer/user account that you don’t want to be walking with the newspaper on.

2. Go to the room where you want to walk with the newspaper in and open up the news.

3. Now switch back to your other computer/user account but DON’T log out of the first one.

4. Log back in the server where you were when you opened the newspaper and go in to the room where you opened it in.

5. Now when you walk around you will be walking with the newspaper! You cannot see yourself doing this nor can the people that weren’t in the room when you originally opened the news on your first computer/user account.

Walk With the Newspaper in the Book Room/Ski Lodge/Lodge Attic:

1. First go to http://play.clubpenguin/load.swf.

2. When you login, make sure that you login to a safe chat server or that your penguin is in safe chat mode.

3. Go to the book room or ski lodge and open up someone’s player card and move it all the way to the left of the screen.

4. Join a game of Mancala/Find Four (depending on which room you went to)

5. When the screen pops up that says “Do you want to join this game?” press Yes multiple times very fast.

6. If you did it right you should have walked away from the game of mancala yet your game would still be up.

7. Now join another game of mancala without exiting out of the first one.

8. Open up the newspaper and press the ‘Tab’ button on your keyboard, a yellow box should appear around something. Keep pressing tab until the box goes around the buddy icon on your chat bar.

9. Press enter once it is around the buddy icon and hi/her player card should pop up on the left, now use the ‘Tab’ button once again to get the yellow box around the send card button on your buddy’s player card.

10. Once it is around it press enter and send him a postcard. Now use your map and go back to the town/ski village (depending on which room you did it in) without moving at all.

11. Once you are in the town head back to the book room/ski lodge (depending on which room you did it in)

12. You will now be walking with the news, you cannot see it but other people can. People that had recently entered the room will not be able to see it either.

Walk On Walls in Any Room:

You need Internet Explorer 7 to do this

1. First you must go on the Club Penguin swf site in the internet explorer 7 browser

2. At the bottom right of your browser there will be a zoom in tool, click it and zoom to about 700%

3. Now scroll over to the right and there will be a white area, click it

4. Once you have clicked it zoom out to 100% and you will see yourself on the wall.

Invisible Penguin/Duplicate Name:

Note: You must have 2 computers or another way of logging on to 2 accounts at the same time.

1. First log in to the server and room on the penguin you want to do it on.

2. Now log on to that same penguin into a differnt server without logging out of where you went in step 1.

3. Now log out of both.

4. Log on to that penguin once again in to the same place as you went in step 1.

If you say something on that penguin its speech bubble will be messed up. You can repeat this as many times as you want to put your name everywhere in the room.

Floating Free Items or Pins:

1. First login to an ultimate safe chat server.

2. Go to a room with a free item or a pin in it.

3. Walk on it to make the message that says if you want to pick it up appears; do not click Yes/No.

4. Press the tab button on your keyboard until the yellow box surrounds your igloo button on the chat bar.

5. Press enter and the image of the item will be on your screen wherever you go.

Stand At the Left Pathway in the Town:

1. First go in to the nightclub.

2. Now click the top right of the door leading to the town rapidly, even while it is loading.

3. When the room is done loading you should now be on the sign in the left pathway.

Talk in Safe Chat Servers:

1. Go to an ultimate safe chat server.

2. Press the ? on your chat bar.

3. Uncheck the safe chat box.

4. Go to another room and you will be able to talk.

Stand Near Signs or Pathways:

1. Go to the mountain.

2. Go to the bunny hill.

3. While you are walking press the map.

4. Join the game.

5. When the game starts go to the town.

6. Walk towards the sign on the right.

7. Press ‘W’ rapidly until you get there.

8. Now you’re on the sign.

Nubbing (walk under the chat bar):

1. Go to the swf page http://play.clubpenguin.com/load.swf.

2. Press F11 on your keyboard to get to full screen mode.

3. Press the white spot under your chat bar and you will be nubbing.

Dropping Words Glitch:

(You must be on http://play.clubpenguin.com for this to work. You will not be able to see it on the swf site)

1. First go to a room that is listed below.

2. Go to a part of the room where you are able to stand near the border of the Club Penguin screen.

3. Say something that is about 2 words like “hi hi”.

4. Walk around and your words will drop.

Here is a list of the rooms this can be done in:

Dock
Lighthouse
Snow Forts
Boiler Room
Ski Lodge
Dance Club

You are not limited to those rooms listed above; this can be done in almost every room where there is a Club Penguin border next to where you can walk.

Stand on Penguins:

1. Go to the swf page http://play.clubpenguin.com/load.swf.

2. Put your mouse over a penguin you would like to stand on.

3. Hold the tab button on your keyboard.

4. The courser should change to a regular arrow.

5. Now click and you should be on the other penguin now.

Walk On Lighthouse Walls:

1. Go in to the ligthouse.

2. Stand behind the fish bucket.

3. Press the door, then quickly press the second floor.

Have more than 100 buddies:

1. Have about 90-99 buddies.

2. Go around asking a lot of people to be your buddy.

3. Then eventually when they all accept you will have more than 100 buddies.

Put Wall Items On Walls Sideways:

1. Place an item on your wall in your igloo the correct way it goes.

2. Drag it to the side of your igloo so it looks turned and it’s transparent.

3. Once you see both of those things let go and it will be on the walls sideways.

Put Floor Furniture On Walls:

1. Go to your inventory.

2. Click a floor item that is at the top row of your inventory multiple times fast.

3. Press the tab button on your keyboard.

4. Press enter.

(This also works for putting wall items on the floor)

Special Dances with Different Items on:

(This glitch is client side which means only you can see it.)

1. Have on any clothes you want or no clothes.

2. Go to your player card.

3. Put on an item that you can do a special dance with.

4. Don’t close your player card.

5. Now dance or wave (depending on what special item you’re doing it with).

6. Now you should be doing a weird dance.

Hockey Puck Glitch:

1. Go to the Ice Rink.

2. Wait for the puck to stop moving if it is.

3. Hold the tab button and click on the puck.

4. Now click anywhere you want and the puck will go there.

Walk On Walls In the Town:

1. Go to the ski mountain.

2. Walk to a game and while you’re walking press the map.

3. Join the game and when it starts go to the town.

4. Repeatedly press ‘W’ then walk to either the right or left path way.

5. When you stop at the pathway click the door of the night club and you will be walking on walls.

Talk With Newspaper:

1. Walk to a game of sled racing.

2. While you are walking there press your map.

3. Join the game and when the game starts go to a different room.

4. Now open the newspaper and press tab and your typing courser will appear in the chat bar.

Catch the Big Fish In Ice Fishing:

When you see the big fish (Mullet) starting to come hook a yellow fish on the line, but don’t reel it in yet. Instead, keep it there until the big fish comes and then use the yellow fish as bait.

Astro Barrier Cheats:

1. While on the loading screen press 1, 2 or 3 to get to levels 10 20 and 30.

2. When you beat level 6 shoot the blue and green targets to get an extra point and live (shoot the blue one first).

3. When you beat level 10 wait 30 seconds and a blue ship will appear, shoot it to get to the secret levels!

Quickly Full Puffle Stats:

Give it a bath then feed it.

Puffles with No Names:

When it is time to name your puffle just name him with a bunch of spaces.

Sit Forward:

1. Move your mouse so your penguin is facing forward.

2. Press ‘S’ on your keyboard.

Toggle Graphic Quality:

Press the + or – button on your keyboard.

1000 Coins in Jet Pack Adventure:

Finish the game without earning any coins at all and you will be rewarded 1000 coins.

Finally,…its here! The Club Penguin DJ K-Dance was delayed several hours and is now finally here!

You have to check out the new Dance Contest! Its by far my most favorite Club Penguin Game at this moment! Here’s a guide to playing and mastering the Dance Contest Game!

Choose New Game. I’ll tell you how to play

Choose a Song to Dance To

Once you choose your song select your difficulty, Easy, Medium, or Hard!

The game is just like Dance Dance Revolution but with the arrows on your keyboard!

If a down arrow comes up, press the down arrow at the right time

The same thing applies for the left, right, and up, keys

If to arrows come up next to each other, like this:

If that comes up, press the up and down key at the same time

If the left and right keys come up, press them at the same time

That applys to every key!

If you see a streak following a arrow like this:

If you see that hold down the key until the streak ends!

The game is pretty simple and easy to learn

Club Penguin likes to hide little hidden references in CP all the time. Sometimes they are really obvious, like those two puffles at the top of the stage that are like the famous masks called comedy and tragedy.

But sometimes, there are hidden things. If you’re a ninja, you’ve been able to see this lantern in the catalog:

The price of the lantern is 575. Do any of you know about the Japanese poems called haiku? The Sensei almost always speaks in haikus. The rule with a haiku is that it’s a three-line poem; the first line has five syllables, the second line has seven syllables, and the third line has five syllables. In other words: 5-7-5.

Wow! Looks like CP has to much time on their hands!

Member’s Only Dance Party

A local DJ named Cadence (Pink Penguin with pink and yellow scarf) has announced a special Member’s Only Dance Party to celebrate a new Dancing Game! The Dance Party is inspired by the Dance Clothes in the new Penguin Style Catalog. Cadence will be decorating the Night Club for Members and holding Dance Competitions. She’s got a new game that’sall about dance, the better you boogie, the better your score! This could do with the Black Monitor in the HQ and this game may by like the Dance Game in the EPF game! The Party will be from January 15th – 18th.

Superhero’s Return

Shadow Guy, Gamma Girl, and Squidzoid return this Friday (by popular demand) in this Super Hero Play at the Stage!

In Focus

Another returned In Focus: Underground Areas. CP changed the Name from “Underground Places” to “Underground Areas”! Think where that stupid CP? Huh, think we wouldn’t notice? Well we did! Lol
